Itinerary
maho3Weather conditions and local transportation requirements may force a change in the stated itinerary. However the itinerary will be varied and interesting.

Day 1, Saturday, March 5, 2011
Arrival Day. You will be met at the dock in Cruz Bay

Day 2, Sunday, March 6, 2011
Start the day by joining the Park Service bird watching at 7:30, or spend the day at leisure snorkeling at the Maho beach or nearby Francis Bay. We will give directions.

Day 3, Monday, March 7, 2011
The bus will take us to Cinnamon Bay for a short tour, then to Trunk Bay to swim and snorkel on the underwater trail. Off to Caneel Bay for a tour and lunch. Walk into town (1 mile) for a visit to the Park Service Visitors Center in Cruz Bay and shop.

Day 4, Tuesday, March 8, 2011
The bus will take us to Haulover Bay to snorkel and lunch at Skinny Legs.

Day 5, Wednesday, March 9, 2011
This is the day for our boat trip to snorkel at unique locations not reached from land.

Day 6, Thursday, March 10, 2011
The bus will take us to Salt Pond to swim and snorkel. Optional hike to Rams Head (1 1/2 miles, 300 ft elevation), no shade, bring water, hat and sunscreen.

Day 7, Friday, March 11, 2011
The bus will take us to the trailhead. Hike to Reef Bay Sugar Mill, stop at petroglyphs then over to Lamisure Bay to swim and snorkel. Bus will pick us up there. (6 miles, mostly downhill in shade but 1/2 mile is uphill in sun)..

Day 8, Saturday, March 12, 2011
The bus will drop us off at Annaburg Sugar Mill. We can tour the sugar mill which has cultural demonstrations and guides. We will walk 1 mile to Leinster Bay to swim and snorkel, tour additional ruins, and then snorkel at Waterlemon Cay 1/2 mile further down the bay.

Day 9, Sunday, March 13, 2011
Alas it's time to pack and leave.
