You will be
transported in vans from Las Vegas to Canyon Ranch Motel to sleep in
comfortable rooms and enjoy hearty food. Each day will offer different
hiking options. For two days you will hike in spectacular Zion National
Park then three days at Bryce Canyon National Park, where red and
yellow rock and mud strata, rise layer upon layer to meet the forested
horizon. Enjoy views of brightly colored hoodoos from the canyon's
edge, gentle tours through rolling forested meadows, and fall hiking.
Return each night to a comfortable motel. Throughout the program,
experts and guides will share their expertise on the geology and
natural history of this spectacular landscape. Breakfasts will be
cooked by staff, lunch in the field, and dinners in a restaurant.
Please Note: Times and/or order of activities may be subject to slight
changes depending on the opportunities provided by the natural world
and/or unforeseen circumstances.

Payment Policy:
A deposit of $300 is due at registration. The
balance of $1220 is due by June 15, 2011.
Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel the trip at any time, an $85.00 ADK registration fee is
non-refundable. The balance of the deposit is fully refundable up to June 15, 2011. After June 15, 2011, no refunds are
possible unless your space can be filled from a waiting list. However,
if ADK cancels the trip or if in the opinion of the leader, this trip
is not for you, the full amount will be refunded.
Minimum required:
The trip requires a minimum of 10 by June 15, 2011 and is limited to a
maximum of 20 participants. This trip will either fill quickly or
cancel due to lack of deposits. I will inform you when the minimum has
been met. Please do not
purchase air tickets prior to this. But do check into airfares
to determine the best deals for flights to Las Vegas where we
rendezvous. Trip insurance is recommended.
