25.  Hike:  Nun-da-ga-o Ridge, 2815 ft.   (C+ - Moderate)  From Crow Clearing, up the side of Big Crow to a lovely Ridge trail with views of Whiteface. Cross the Ridge, then down a col and up through a beautiful birch forest to Weston Mtn. This is a 5.8 mile circuit. Depart 9:00, return 4:00.  Leader:  Jean Hardy

26.  Paddle:  Church, Osgood, and Jones Ponds  Launching into Church Pond  at Rt 86 just east of Paul Smiths College, a lovely paddle through narrow channels into Little Church, and to Osgood.   If high enough water, paddle into channel under White Pine Camp Road to Jones Pond.  If low water, we will paddle up into Osgood River, and return to launch site.  Depart 9:00, return 4:30.    Leader:  Joyce Daniels

27.  Paddle:  Racquette River from Axton Landing  Part of the Northern Forest Canoe Trail, we will paddle up the Racquette River to Racquette Falls and back to Axton Landing.   Depart 8:30, return 4:30.  Leaders:  Nancy and Bob Kohlbecker

28.  Paddle:  Taylor Pond
Wonderful views of Catamount Mountain,  paddling westerly from State Campground dock with stop at one of 3 lean-tos for lunch.  Often we see loons at the end of the Pond. Depart:  9:30, return 4:00. Leaders: Marcia Mosey  and  Ruth Kuhfahl

29.  Paddle:  Moose Pond
From State launch site we will paddle around the pond, with lunch at a wonderful rocky point where we often watch osprey in their nest.  Depart 9:30, return 4:00.

30.  Paddle:  Ausable River to Lake Champlain  If the water is calm we will do a loop out into Lake Champlain, then return up the river the same way we came.

31.  Hike: Cascade Mountain, 4098 ft. ( B – Moderate)  The easiest of all the 4000 ft. peaks to ascend, this has generally moderate grades with only a few steeper pitches, making this a very enjoyable hike.  4.8 miles RT.   Depart 9:00, return 4:00.  Leader:  Frank Krueger
32.  Hike:  First Brother, 2940 ft.  (C+ - Moderate)  FULL Steep in spots, the trail leads to beautiful ledges and a summit with views of Keene Valley, Giant, The Great Range, and Marcy.  3 mile RT. Depart 9:00, return 1:30.

33.  Hike:  Owl Head Lookout, 2530 ft.  (C+ - Moderate)  FULL Hike on the north trail to Giant Mountain. Elevations gains moderate till the last short (0.l mi.) steep pitch to the Lookout. Wonderful views of Giant, Rocky Peak, Lake Champlain, and the Green Mts. of Vermont.  0.1 mi. further to see the magnificent cliffs of the lookout from below.  5.2 miles RT,  Depart 9:30, return 2:00.  Leader:  Mary Krueger 

34.  Hike: Owen, Winch, Copperas Ponds (C - Easy pace)  Nice hike past quiet Owen Pond, on up to Copperas Pond and a side trip to Winch Pond. Returning back to Copperas Pond, and snack at the lean-to, we will descend the shorter but steep trail to Route 86 where we will have spotted cars.   Approximately 2.5 miles total.  Depart 9:00, return 1:30.  Leader:  Marcia Mosey

35.  Hike:  Morgan Mountain, 3440 ft.   (C- moderate) FULL Using the Cooper Kiln Trail, this should be a nice hike with views of Esther and Whiteface.  Depart 9:00, return 2:00 Leader:  Peter Biesemeyer

36.  Hike:  Hamlin Mountain, 2129 ft.  (C – Easy)  FULL Nice hike up a small mountain in Wilmington. 1100 elevation gain; 3 mile RT – great views. Depart 9:00, return noon.

37.  Hike:  Rocky Falls,  (C - Easy) FULL
An easy walk on the start of the Indian Pass Trail to a series of waterfalls and a large pool for swimming. There’s a lean-to at the top of the falls, and wonderful places to sit, dip your feet in the cool water and enjoy your lunch.   4.8 mi. 38.  Hike:  Silver Lake Bog Walk  (C-Easy)
This is a wonderful 2.5 mile walk on a Nature Conservancy Trail. (see #23).  Depart 9:00, return noon.  Leader:  Ruth Kuhfahl

39.  Hike:  Cobble Hill   (C - Easy ) FULL
Hike through woods to a sloping rock face & scramble up to views of Mirror Lake & Lake Placid village. A short walk to the summit for views of the high peaks. Descent on the gentle former Mt. Whitney ski trail and along Echo Lake.  2.5 miles RT.  Depart 9:00, return 12:00 noon.  Leader:  Frank Lescinsky
