Algonquin Park Canoe Trip, Ontario September 7 - 12, 2010 $450 Dave Fergusson, Leader  Welcome
to Algonquin Park. Covering over 3000 square miles, it is the oldest
provincial park in Ontario and one of the largest in Canada. There is
only one highway crossing the park, which is about a 4 hour drive north
of Toronto. This leaves a large wilderness area accessible only by
canoe.This trip is intended for experienced paddlers. The leisurely trip will involve 4-6 hours of traveling each day with a rest day on Lake Louisa, one of the larger more spectacular lakes in the park. |
